Well, you can be assured that it will be SCARCE/DOUBLE SHARP, just like every other coin this dealer lists. It would be a good idea to have someone check it carefully for signs of cleaning. This seller has some negs/neutrals about cleaned coins, and their photography makes me nervous.
I'm with you. I won't buy any coin when the picture doesn't show the real color and tone or luster. there's a reason they make those pictures like that.
Now that's the real indicator. Throw out what us old sods have said and judge the coin on the merits that you endure. What say ye? You're call friend, and since you're the fellow collecting it, it's your opinion that's all that matters. Forget us fobbing fools. It matters not what we think.......
I was dissapointed with my last online auction purchase, that's why I asked. (I bought from another member here and LOVED what I got!).
Well, Ken, it's an 1885 Morgan Silver Dollar struck out of Philadelphia... I think that should sum it up well enough for ya, ol' chap.
well it was a gift that my wife bought me and i love it and i was just seeing what all of you thought of it
