I have been liked almost 600 times, but not quite. Therefore, the member who gives me my 600th like will receive a prize ranging from a roll of circulated wheat cents from the 1950's up to a PCGS or NGC graded coin. The prize will be determined by me based on which post was chosen as the 600th like and the previous number of likes the member has given me from the previous 99 likes. My 'like' finger was very inadvertent I just literally found the contests section yesterday and had no clue about LGLs newest contest. I apologize for 'stealing' someones free coin, I by no means meant to snipe that away from anybody and was in fact just returning the kind gestures and responses from LGL to my posts. Like I told him, its very heart warming to see so many people willing to teach others the information they know and to help us along. This place has quickly risen to one of my favorite stops on the internet and I for one appreciate all the members who participate in my posts and who themselves inadvertently teach me new things when I am reading old posts and topics.
I know. I honestly thought you would be the one to get it. I'll have to have another as I approach 750.
Don't make it like this one. Had I caught this soon enough I would have closed it. If you wish to hold a contest involving Likes, then have your players guess on what day you will hit a certain number or something. But I am not going to allow contests based on people giving out Likes.
I apologize. I thought about it and thought it was only one. If you can, please take 10 away or something. Thank you for the alternative of what day . . . kind of contest.
That's not the point. The point is that likes are supposed to be given because somebody liked what you had to say. Not to win a contest.
Just to be safe, I am going to stay away from it altogether. I am not out to purchase likes. I just wanted to create something fun and fast paced. Thank you for the guidance, I really do appreciate it.
