I sure do not like the looks of this one!!

 

I think it actually looks okay.

I mean, it's not as nice as the 2012 design, but compared to the 2011 design, it's hard to go backwards style wise from that.

I for one am glad to see Howlin Wolf make it to a coin :hail:

 

I think this coin with just the howling wolf would be very cool. But we don't want to copy a page out of the RCM, do we?

I think the design is ok could have been better I guess. However, I'm sure my kids will love it because the turtle, turkey and wolf. Although comparing this coin to the 5 Star Generals that are being released I actually think this coin looks much better. Added the mints picture to the thread in case anyone wants to see without clicking the links.

I agree. Doesn't look like much creativity. But most coin designs now days are lacking. Just my opinion.

 

It looks quite a bit nicer than a constant parade of our military might.

 

You have to give them credit for their play on our ignorance. To brag about broken treaty's on a coin means either they are very arrogant or they have successfully re-written history. On a lighter note, I do dig the series and what they are trying to make it stand for.

 

I thought the 2011 design was nice. I mean, its certainly not amazing, but it looks ok.
The 2012 I love and this 2013 is alright. Love the turtle lol.
