    Yes. Back in the day it must have been part of one of those mutilated coin contests like the one currently being held on this forum.

    PS mojavedave must have used a USB microscope on that quarter. :)

    Looks like bullet holes on the large cent.

    You are pretty sharp on picking up the microscope bit. Those are reflections, not holes. It was posted just for fun, since I haven't seen any U.S. coins with holes.

    Hey Siberian Man, I was thinking the same thing this morning. I wasn't even sure about this coin, I found it among my father's things when he died years back. He served in India in WWII. Now I know some more about this coin... thanks
