another detector find?

    Here is a penny I found a while ago...I cannot tell if it is a Henry or Richard as the coin is badly clipped...

    Just that it's from the York mint, as indicated by the RAC in the reverse legend and the quatrelobe at the center.

    What's the time frame that this piece was minted (hammered?) in?

    I am unsure of the king but I think around 1400's possibly.

    The first letter on the legend doesn't look like an "E", I think it is either a "H" or an "R" but I could be wrong.

    I know as much about these as I do Overtons, VAMS and such in U.S. coins....not a darn thing, lol.

    I am just going by what I see often and its usually Edward pennies.

    a lot of the coins looked quite similar for a few hundred years
