Found a wicked tiny coin in a roll tonight, a 1962 Netherlands 10 cent Juliana. Into the foreign box she goes!

    Meanwhile,
    box 1 dimes - '60D, '64
    box 2 dimes - '44D, '53

Maybe I could actually finish up strongly this month after really taking it easy to refresh the mental and physical batteries. Definitely feeling much better!

Had my best take yet. Drove around looking for halves at banks in a town near mine.
Second bank I went to a teller had $36 in loose halves when she dumped them out I could hear and see the silver. She even said there are a few silvers in here, by few I guess she meant 27!

Went to another bank and a teller had $6.50 in loose halves and 2 40% and a 1974 and 1978 proofs!

$42.50 in loose halves got me 29 40%.

    $100 in BWR got nothing.

Was so pumped that I picked up a 2011 ASE which looks flawless and a box of nickels to search later on tonight.

I got a 1957-D wheat in a coin roll today. It has to be the reddest wheat I have.

What you're dealing with there are the dumpings from some selfish clown who doesn't care that the coins they are marking could be desirable to another collector. Those coins have been marked so that the clown will know not to bother going through them again in case they receive the same coins in the future. It is not an issue on this forum but it is a taboo topic on www.treasurenet.com/.

A former member from CoinTalk, Merc Crazy, got banned from that forum because he had a conflict with a highly excessive coin searcher named TimZim. Good old TimZim, apparently, has a habit of marking up the coins that he doesn't want to keep. Merc Crazy lives in the same general area (the northeast) so he was finding a lot of coins from this clown that he wanted to keep but were ruined by him marking up the coins. I am of the opinion that a federal statute should be put in place prohibiting this dubious activity with violators being fined and prosecuted.

YEA IT JUST SCARES ME TO get anymore from that bank now. I have rec a lot like that. And my CU does not like to order then for me and give me a hard time when I bring them in cause they always have to change out the bag. Thats the only free dump we have around. Does anyone know if these coin machines not coinstar except 64 -70's I mean if I am getting dump coins is there any sense I would like to order about 4 more boxes to go through during Xmas vac With the Grand children.

I find silver in marked coins all the time. I actually mark some coin, and I've found silver amongst my own marked coins. :)
