"If I had a nickel for every 1881 Seated Dime made into a love token posted on Cointalk, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice." I purchased this love token from a fellow Instagram collector and seller for a pretty nice price. Definitely one of the cooler things I've seen for sale. I know @lordmarcovan used to collect Seated Dime love tokens by date (he had 1879, 1880, and 1881!). His old collection is posted here, and it's pretty impressive, although he doesn't have them anymore: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/my-old-seated-barber-dime-love-token-date-set.298730/ There certainly can't be many of these out there.
Pretty sloppy job silver soldering the clasp on the obverse of the coin. That is the first thing my eyes observed when I first looked at it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though. Sorry to be so bold in my opinion. Thanks for sharing.
