Just bought a book on eBay that had the Lincoln set from 09-40 missing only the 09s vdb and the 1914d. I only wanted 3 coins in the book. The 23s 24d and the 31s. I figured I could sell the rest and get a better price on the coins I wanted. Any grade and dollar value would be helpful. I can't tell if the 09-s has been cleaned? Let me know what you think. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

i would say the 1909 s is about a vf-20 details cleaned and the 24 d is about a vf-25 if authentic... i am always leery of any un certified key and semi key lincolns..

You didn't pay more than $30 for the whole set did you?

$30 would be a steal if the coins are real.

Would the Verdi-Care help me on that 24d?

Yea 31-S is at least a $60-70+ on a bad day. The 24d has got to be worth at least $40. The 09-s.... Maybe a hundred?

That's just 3 coins and it paid for the book. Still have the 10s 11s 12s 13s 14s 15s 22d 26s. I'm thinking I did alright. Ill be listing them up on eBay here in the next few days. Ill let everyone know how I came out.

I need to sell the remaining 80+ coins for $2.50 each to break even....

I see the 31-s is over $100 right there. I think you got a steal on this set .....unless all the semikeys are just awful.

My bad, I was thinking of one that went on ebay about a week ago for $30. It must have been missing key years other than the 1909 vdb's (I did not look too closely).

Verdi-Care helps prevent further deterioration. Therefore, it can't hurt. I use it with good results.
