I just bought this coin. Can someone grade it please? I tried getting rid of the verdigris by soaking it in Acetone for an hour. Maybe needs more time.

And why is the letter S missing (in God We Trust)?

I'd be grateful if someone looked at the 2nd Shield Cent I bought. It has some discoloring. In what way does it affect the grade?

 

I would put both in the ef40 detail grade.

The missing S looks to be a filled die

On second look the 66 is more au50

 

How do the spots affect the grade and the coin's worth?

 

Ever hear of Verdi-Care? Thad in the forum made it and from what I've seen works wonders on verdigris.
