Decagon (10 sided) coin dated 1981

I don't see any clear diagnostic symbols to ID this coin, and I didn't find it on a flip through of Middle Eastern countries. It appears to have Arabic lettering and a denomination of "10" something or other.

Which one did I miss?

I think its mexico but i cant tell with those pictures.

 

I haven't seen very many Mexican coins with Arabic writing.

But... I checked my Krause, and the 1981 10 centavos and 10 pesos are nowhere near a match.

 

Your camera was focusing on the background, not the foreground. Maybe try the macro setting?
