So forum, which of your coins is among the best of the best? Include grade, TPG, year, mm, denom, etc.

I'll start off: My PCGS MS67 2008-P OK 25c is among 236 in MS67, with only one in a higher grade by PCGS :D

I have higher graded modern coins but these are my two pre 1964 MS68 Jefferson Nickels.

All of my coins are the best. They're all better than everyone else's because I own them. None of them are slabbed with a persons opinion slapped on the plastic slab. ;)

Since his coin has a population of 236/1, I assume he is just asking for your highest graded coin which does not have to be a unique top pop.

That collection is amazing. Most people think that collecting Kennedy Halves is a rather easy adventure. I think that most people who view that collection would quickly change their mind and immediately recognize the passion and dedication that it took to assemble such an incredible collection. I know I am impressed.

BTW, you referred to the collection as "one of our". What are the other sets and is this a collaborative effort in collecting?

I started collecting a few years ago at age 8 with my dad. Lately we have been just working on the variety side of the series and this set is still a work in procress. http://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/showcase.aspx?sc=1165

Thanks Tom. While I don't disagree with the grade of those two coins, the fact that this coin is graded MS67+ presents a problem to me since I think it is the highest quality Jefferson Nickel I have ever seen with respect to all of the elements of grading. I think this coin deserves an MS68 grade as well.

Surely you got something slabbed that is worth throwing up, green? I don't think we are trying out for the fire department. :)

Technically, my highest graded coin is this 2005S nickel graded PR70 DCAM by ICG. I don't know if this would translate into a ranking.

I've got a couple 69s ms and pr but i went for population/better rather then just grade. Ie a MS66 population of 656 with 50 of higher grade vs say pr69 with 8800/956 at least that's what i think he intended...

I think you are right. I am sure there are many MS69-70 ASE's with high populations.

There are over 4,000 1909 VDB Lincoln Cents graded by PCGS with the red-brown (RB) color designation. To date, only 3 coins have been graded MS67RB with none of the RB coins ever grading higher... here are two of the three:

In the brown (BN) color designation, PCGS has only graded 10 1909 VDB cents at the MS66BN level with no brown examples grading higher... here's a really cool example:
