    >.< not what I wanted to hear. They also showed the other end if you scrolled down. Had both a 1909 and a VDB 1909.

not sure who started the game on ebay of the lottery rolls so to speak, but if they are all true i wonder what they give the kids for christmas if they can afford to give strangers 1909 vdb's in abundance.

These are normally a scam and based on the feedback, I would have saved my money.

The OP made a new thread and posted the results here: http://www.cointalk.com/t217341/ Like I said in that thread, I had comparable results with the same type of rolls that I paid just $5-$6 each for when I used to buy them around 2005 or so.

Again, I will say that while yes most of what you get in these rolls is junk I have on several occasions picked up rolls that surprised me. I only pay the amount of what I value the end coin as. However the most I have paid is $22 that had a g4 58 FE on one end and a 1859 IH F12. Yeah the rest were junk (though there were a couple common IHs and to my surprise a 1931-d wheat. Which if i ever get some xylene to remove the "varnish" with might be a very nice if "cleaned" coin) Just remember you will never get the real jackpot and if you only pay what you would for the face coin you can get some nice surprise low grade hole fillers :D

Ebay has a lot of people selling "unopened unsearched original bank rolls". More and more keep popping up. So it's a little hard to believe that after say 60 years there are still more and more getting "found". Anyways, my friend put this together a little while back, Ebay buyers beware, if it sounds too good to be true...

Just saying be aware that these are probably not originals and always read the feedback.

i just bought a roll of 1958-D original bank rolled wrapper. Looks legit to me. I'm not opening the roll at this time.
