Good quality, lot's of information, many coin from long ago. http://www.ebay.com/sch/Coins-World...=item5645eaf71c&_ssn=chucksauctionhouse&rt=nc And to quote the seller, " THE VALUE OF THIS COIN IS UNKNOWN . THE ORIGIN IS UNKNOWN AND THE EXACT COMPOSITION ALSO IS UNKNOWN." On another auction for silver rounds he states, "THESE WERE ACQUIRED FROM AN ESTATE. FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS SILVER "POOR MANS GOLD" HAS BEEN A HAVEN AGAINST MISFORTUNE, WARS,INFLATION AND TERRORISM. THESE COINS ALSO MAKE EXCELLENT GIFTS AND KEEPSAKES AND CAN ONLY INCREASE IN VALUE IF HELD FOR ANY NUMBER OF YEARS AS AN INVESTMENT." Yes, silver will protect you from terrorism!
Nothing like doing a little research before listing. Looking over this sellers other items, I noticed his U.S. coins are WAY overpriced.
Careful of what you say.... " I AM A RETIRED MULTIPLE BUSINESS OWNER AND KNOW THE VALUE AND IMPORTANCE OF "GOOD SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION" I PRACTICE WHAT I PREACH. I AM ALSO A MARTIAL ARTS MASTER 7TH DEGREE BLACK BELT IN FOUR STYLES TAEKWONDO, HAPKIDO, KUK SOOL AND HO SIN SOOL. ANY OF MY CUSTOMERS CAN FEEL FREE TO ASK FOR ANY FREE ADVISE IN THESE AREAS."
His world coins are also over priced. I hate sellers like this who sell fake coins and obvious know that they are fake but say stuff like...[h=1] "THESE COINS WERE PART OF A LARGE ESTATE IN SHENZHEN, CHINA THAT WAS PURCHASED MANY YEARS AGO .[/h][h=1]THE VALUE OF THIS COIN IS UNKNOWN . THE ORIGIN AND AUTHENTICITY IS UNKNOWN AND THE EXACT COMPOSITION ALSO IS UNKNOWN."[/h]
:devil:I would Not Buy a Raw World or US coin on eBay unless it was graded By 1 of the 4 TPG Anacs Icg Ngc or Pcgs. But that just my 2c
Yeah I avoid sellers like this on e-bay. I generaly only buy slabbed coins and or scrap silver on e-bay. I would never try to buy and coin of real value there. That's not completely true, just a general rule as there are a few dealers I know personaly that have e-bay stores I would buy from, but i also know they will take the coin back for full refund if i'm not happy with it.
Here's a link to a coin he has for sale. http://www.ebay.com/itm/World-Coins-Old-Large-Zodiac-Chinese-Commemorative-Year-Of-The-Monkey-Coin-Fr-Sh-/390425480159?pt=US_World_Coins&hash=item5ae72c0bdf Does it look like the monkey is holding poo, or is it just me?
Haha that's funny the price of US $59.99 crossed out and instead US $44.99 with saving $15.00 (25%) makes this a real steal. Don't know who is more to blame the seller or the buyer in such a case.
Somewhat off topic, but the minimum time it takes to achieve 7th dan (degree) for a single martial arts discipline (e.g., the Korean So Bahk Do style) is 27 years after achieving (1st Dan) Black Belt. To have simultaneously achieved 7th dan in four different styles is pushing credibility (it could be done, but at the exclusion of most other activities, unless some of the schools are "diploma mills"). Likewise (on the credibility front), his "CAN ONLY INCREASE IN VALUE" statement tends to ignore what happened to the sliver market in 1980 (and to a lesser degree, May 2011).
