Post a coin having to do with religion or politics!

    ...without mentioning anything about religion or politics. The rules state "Basically it’s common sense. Just about every person on the planet has heard the saying – 'never discuss politics and/or religion'. Why ? Because it starts fights, arguments and causes nothing but hate and discontent. If you wish to discuss politics and or religion, then go someplace else. We don’t allow it here.
    And I expect all posters to follow this. This can be a fun thread, but check and double check everything you post here to make sure it's appropriate. Now onto the good stuff. I own very few religious or political stuff, but I picked one of these up for a dollar a while ago:

    Every modern US coin with a president on it since they are all politicians.

    Hmm, coins are issued by governments and convey a "message" about the issuer, or reflect the issuer's view of the country. So in a way they all are political. :)

    Well, actually, I was a tad lazy. I have a picture of the 'Franklin Scientist' but I couldn't seem to locate it. Rather than dig the coin out of mothballs and photograph it I opted for a pic from our friends at the mint........:)
