Accept what ??? I've bought dozens and dozens of Spouses and only returned 1 due to a very bad scratch. I'm talking bad coins not coins with a few planchet marks making them a 69 or 68 at worst. You ain't gonna get all 70s.
That's the problem. Too many people demand perfection. The world's not perfect, and certainly not the mint, but I don't sweat the small stuff. And that's not to say I've never been disappointed with a product I've ordered.......I have, but never to the point of wanting to send it back.
the spouses are more than $100 over spot- for that $100 I should get a coin with no spots. That is reasonable.
Yeah, and they allow you to return it. But that doesn't mean they won't turn around and ship it out to somebody else.
After read everyone's comments. It's seems that Mint will resell them to people who are less picky than others. IMO, if you planning to crack the set and grade them, then you can be picky. However, if you want to keep coins in the original set, then you should not be that picky.
Raw or slabbed, I want the best I can get. If someone wants to keep them raw, they should be satisfied with garbage? Maybe you, but no one else!
