I bought every proof SBA in 69. I already had a 1981 type 1 and a 1999 PF70, but buying a whole lot like this was cheaper than buying them all separately. The seller had all the MS versions in 66, which I would have also bought if I was made of money. Unfortunately this is enough to put my collecting on hold for a little while.
Reminds me of a rose just starting to bloom. That is gorgeous WL. Let me know when you get rid of that one cause I would like to be 1st on the list to try to give it a new home
K9coper; Your 1803 Dollar is fabulous! One doesn't see coins of that age without problems too often. I believe that many of them have issues, thus making your coin rarer than what the census claim it to be.
Bsowa 1029; What a looker! Your Half Dollar looks to be a highly lustrous beauty. I bet in hand it is just radiant! It looks to be well struck also. Congratulations on your new addition to your collection.
Hi Cannyn; It's me Brenton and your coins look great, especially the 1922 Peace Dollar. It looks to be well struck considering that so many are totally weak. Also, the Franklin appears to be mint state to me. I don't see any evidence of wear or circulation. I hope to see you at the next Everett meeting.
Cremebrule; Wow! Your 1905 Dime is a looker! I have a particular affinity for dimes and that one is a definite keeper
This one came in the mail today. I was really fearful of what I was going to receive because it was listed in the auction as a 1946P, MS63 and I got it for MS63 price.:hail: The pictures, however, were of this coin. Somebody's loss was my gain on this one.
Another NEWP from July recently imaged (I have a couple that I want to spread out so as to not "hog the thread"). This was purchased as an NGC AU58, and recently crossed over for my Everyman Registry Set. A weaker strike then I generally prefer, but I fell in love with the toning on sight. These are straight, unjuiced pics.
I am also working(slowly) on an AU58 type and it has really been fun. Every coin you have posted for your type set has been gorgeous.
Thanks; that was what originally drew me to the coin in the first place! The reverse reminds me of a smooth sea green and deep blue ocean/waves. The obverse isn't too shabby either.
