That's fine, but the fact remains that it is a civil issue and police do not investigate civil matters such as disputes on eBay.
Like this scam http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bicentennial-Coin-Collection-1776-Continental-Dollar-20-Carat-Gold-Bar-Kennedy-/160904260809?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item2576a42cc9 'The coins are in good condition but do show age appropriate wear, but all the coins are legible and Authentic. But I guess if people are dumb enough to fall for this stuff someone will take advantage of them. I sent the seller a message reminding them of SNAD claims. http://www.kennedymint.net/wall_dis...+Coins&cat4=1783-1976+Wall+Display+Collection "A total of 29 coins and one $1.00 currency note complete this collection. Starting with reproductions of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries coinage, like the 1783 George Washington Cent, 1785 Bar Cent, Virginia Half Cent, 1832 Carolina Gold Dollar, and the 1855 California $50 Gold Piece. Next are nine genuine U.S. Coins of the twentieth century, like the Indian Head Penny, Buffalo Nickel, 1943 Steel Cent, and three 1776-1976 Bicentennial Coins. "
Looking at the sellers other items, he really doesn't deal in coins. My guess is that the seller doesn't know any better and actually thinks they are all real. Doesn't make it right, just an idea. Bidding up to $100 too, ugh.
You know, those people with badges and guns, usually found at the local Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme?
I read the title to the thread and immediately recognized the sarcasm, which I thought was outlawed on this site
I heard today that ebay is hiring Pickerton men to get everything under control. I hope it works better than it did for Ole Abe.
if they look the same they are most likely treated.there are people that sell them'but tell you they have treated to bring out the date and other details'but unfortunately there are also people who omit that info.do they have sort of a rough over all appearance;if so they most likely have been.
I agree. If it was BY-3167..., I would be much more likely to believe the person. Perchance learn to Copy & Paste?
