$7.50 in cents 1 wheat 172 copper. Also there was a Guatemalan Quetzal at the end of one or the rolls. I saw it as soon as the teller handed me the rolls and knew I had something cool.

in $10 of nickels i got 2 nickels for my collection and a 50 yen.
i also got a %100 copper dime.

 

When did they make those 100% copper dimes??

 

i think its an error. it happens at the mint or somthing............

 

Three boxes of halves: One '64, three 40%, one '87 P, and a 1964 UK penny. I rarely see any foreign coins in rolls of halves, so it's always a nice treat. In fact, it's only my fifth ever: I've also found a Canadian 50c, a Panamanian 1/2 Balboa (which almost doesn't count), an Irish 50p, and an Australian penny.

 

In the past 2 days i have found a 1968-d dime that has a weak 8, a 1972 nickel that has some sort of a curve going through the reverse, and a 1990-d quarter that has a crack near the lower lef corner of the reverse

 

those curve are pretty common. i find them.....and pitch them.

 

what does pitch mean?

Finds have been paltry lately, I'm at 1.85 ozs this month after $6300 + searched. Picking up 2 boxes of halves today and some dimes for the rest of the week and any loose halves I can find. Slowly but surely I'm getting my supply of pick up banks back and will be doing $3-$4k in mixed coin per week.
