Good morning guys. I'm looking for a key date list for all U.S. series. I've ran across a prior CT thread that had a link to the list, but I cannot find it. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.
key dates for everything the united states has made? you can always jsut look at the highest price in the red book for a series. 1916 quarter 1921 d walking half 1932 d and s washington quarter 1856 flying eagle 1877 indian head cent 1909 s vdb 1916 d mercury dime 1872 2 cent 1873 if you include the proof 1881 shield nickel excluding proofs 1885 v nickel 1913 s type 2 buffalo nickel excluding error coins 1895 o barber dime 1913 s barber quarter 1892 o barber half thats most of them right there
This list is very misleading... What grades are we talking, Jason? Circulated or uncirculated? Because that's a huge factor.
i just posted what is the commonly known as the key date in that particular series condition not being a factor. so basically low grade

everybody needs a Redbook. you learn a lot by going thru it and the act of listing the keys out in a notebook helps to remember a lot of them, add in the '21 walkers then there's lots of semi keys. I like the mini notebook method.
Not a bad list off the top of your head. As mentioned by others you've forgotten a couple biggies. Including the keys from the most popular US coin series: Morgan Dollars 1893 S 1894 P 1889 CC and for those collectors who can afford to spend moon money...the 1895 Proof.
haha, i didn't even notice that when i made it. i guess it is because i only buy dollars for bullion purposes and really don't care about the series
I wonder if 20yrs go by? 2009-P+D coins are key dates ?? few have 1950's mintage ## could that happen?
