    That 1985D looks pretty good.

Thanks! It took a lot of searching to find, the 85D and 86D BU rolls are expensive.....and mostly full of crapola. Not sure if this one came from an old OBW or just from my normal Brinks rolls.

Here's a fun one for 1986. What grade would NGC give it? Not a hit or a spot on it with brillant luster.

Here's another, but not quite as nice. Guess the grade?

I would grade the first 86D MS68 only because of the bubbling on the obverse and the last s in States and the o in of are flatten out on the reverse

Today's offerings are a NGC MS68RD 1986 obv and rev and a NGC MS68RD 1986D obv and rev

Nice cents! I really like the frostiness of the 1986D.

That is a nice light rainbow stemming from the shoulder and widening out towards the head.

Have any of you ever checked the prices of 86-D BU rolls?

Cannot find any from my dealer, but the 86S rolls are $90. If I had to guestimate, I would say $20-$40. Probably cheaper on ebay.

I haven't checked ebay in months, but at last look there were NONE being offered. They are TOUGH rolls to find. Even harder are rolls of the 82P small date copper....impossible!

Yes. Last time my dealer had BU 86D rolls was about 4 months ago at $30-$31 per roll.
