    Raising the fare from $2.25 to $2.50 seems like a great idea. That way when I pay with a quarter-eagle I won't have to collect change.

    Ah, but then you'd be overpaying! If you use four quarter-eagles to buy a $10 MetroCard, you'd save 7%!

    Not 7% of the $209 that a quarter-eagle is worth, but 7% of $2.50. ;)

    Either way you look at it, I find it odd how people in NYC think they're the center of the universe. As if a $0.25 price hike and a discount for using a MetroCard to ride the train in NYC is the final nail in the coffin for coins worldwide.

    some things aren't worth commenting on. Including the trip from Gallitan County Park to the Golf Course.

    What about a "System D" money card for people in black markets
    and underground economy?
