That and at the top of the bottom loop of the "G" is where I'm seeing what may be doubling. Like the whole bottom half of the "G".
I'm sorry about the quality of the blown up image, I think the area you are looking at may have been pushed up... not split... any thoughts on this?
I dont know what to make of this one i guess i would just have to see it in hand??? It looks like evidence of notching on the G but to be fair i dont see it anywhere else.....
In the first image, I believe the notch you are referring to is where the arrow is... does this correspond to the second image being out by that much?...
I think you should send it to CONECA. Maybe it's a discovery piece. I;m not seeing any DDO's for 1992 on coppercoins. May be worth submitting.
Looks like some strike doubling mixed with Zinc rot, if you asked me. I'm not seeing any split serifs, which usually is a good indication of a true doubled die... I'm no expert, and I just don't think it's anything worth having CONECA check out.
From what I can make out I say its just a normal coin.. I would suspect the GOD would have extra thickness to the letters if it were doubled and I don't see any evidence of doubling other than the split in the lower G. Certainly can be swayed in my opinion with better pictures but thats where I am at right now
