1878S Morgan looks to me like the bottom of the B in PLURIBUS is broken

I have this piece and was wondering if anyone had any info and could tell me any thing about it

I don't like the look of that coin at all... just something about the appearance that appears to be "off" (might just be the pics). I'd like to see a better photo of the reverse; it's hard to tell if that "dot" is even a mintmark.

i agree. the denticleslook odd, especially on the reverse. have you weighed the coin or put a magnet to it?

i tested it and it also weighs correct. i will try to get a better picture i noticed it also looks like it is off center slightly the space behind the denticles is wider on the right side than the left . Again thanks for the help
