I am thinking of getting all 2012 eligible coins in the NGC original black holder as I really like the way it looks. Does anyone else find it as I do? Also, what do you think of the 2012-S Coin and Currency PF70? Any idea whether it will be a sleeper? Right now it hangs around 125 - 130 per coin at PF70 ....
I think it is pretty neat since I am just so used to seeing white, although, I think it is bogus that only certain coins are elligable for it. In the end it is just a marketing ploy.
A friend had some sample slabs this weekend and they looked pretty sweet. I personally will not be getting any, as I am not a modern person, but if I had a 2 coin Silver Eagle set from this year I definately would have gotten them in these. Actually one set in these and one in the pcgs dual slab.
Actually, I am not thinking of getting all eligible 2012 coins - I am only doing the 2012 silver eagle ones (W-bullion, S-bullion, W-burnished, W-proof, the San Francisco 2-coin set, and the Coin and Currency set). Also, I personally would not get any of my silver eagles from the previous years in this holder. Just the 2012 to mark the anniversary of NGC - sorry, no pun intended, but I don't do PCGS ;-)
hahaha - gotta wait till the grades and coins back from NGC ;-) But for the Coin and Currency set and the S-bullion, I just ordered two PF70 and one MS70 from an online dealer ... the reason I order 2 of the Coin and Currency set at PF70 because I think it's a sleeper ;-) Oh yeah, y'all will see the pics when all sets are on hand!
