The only VAM that shows a Die crack is the VAM 15A. Nice pickup for below melt!

Great pickup for $25, the coin shop in my area has a zip lock bag full of morgans for $29 but none are in anywhere near the condition of your $25 pickup. I'm jealous

I think that was fair for both of you. As the seller, I would have been happy. The dealer would have offered him less.

Good deal. I don't know how much of a premium there is for that VAM, but I would check over on VAMworld, it might be worth it to have it graded.

On the premium thing, i've seen only 1 vam 15A graded up for sale and they want $525 for that one saw another that sold for $300, so i think i gotta call this coin the deal of the year :D (for me anyway)

Yes i think i gonna send this one along with my 66 DDO kennedy half in for slabbing/grading on the 1st.

Only issue i see is that now i need to get another 1890-p for my morgan year book lol

took a nice trip to the coin shop today and had my wishes confirmed. She is a very nice vam 15a :D my very very very 1st R6 and for only $25 :D so i think i will be shipping a package sooner then the 1st to get it graded and slabbed :D not going to be a top grade due to the dink on the nose but what do you guys think? I'm thinking i lucky if i get au58 :(

NVM i gonna snap some better pics and probably post that question in the worth forum

Awesome, just be careful who you send it in to for attribution. I know PCGS only attribute's (top-100, hot-50 & hit-list-40) VAM Morgan's, and ANACS attribute's most all VAM's. That coin looked BU to me, probably a ms62 or ms63. Nice find and great luck to you and your awesome find!

On it's way to ANACS now for cert/grade/slabbing. This is actualy the 1st time i've ever sent off a coin for slabbing so I am a bit excited. These next 2 weeks of waiting are gonna be murder :D I swear handing over that coin/box at the post office was harder then sending my son back to his mother after the summer.
