1880 O Morgan. What does it grade?

Morgandude11 As long as it's Silver, I'm listening

I'd crack that one out 10x, until someone finally recognized that it is an obvious 65 if I had to do so. It is a 65--I know Morgans and apparently NGC did not know them on the day they graded that one. It is definitely reluctance to call it a condition rarity--PCGS obviously didn't want to take that risk either. Keep cracking.

Just read through this whole thread. I agree that this coin is a 65.

TPG's will often grade a coin lower, if there is a large bump in price, in the next grade.

    Keep cracking it out.

I would also crack out some PCGS MS64 Morgans to put in with this same submission. A little prodding in the correct direction might help.

    ....OR....ask for a CEO regrade.

Looks like a 65 pl But graded a 64 due to the filled O mint mark. IMHO

A filled O has no bearing on the grade of the coin (which is a 65 all day). Matt is getting the shaft here, but I suspect he will have the last laugh...eventually.

Hope your right is he going to send it to regrade? But in lookin at that coin that was all I could see. Lately a friend has taken morgans out of the container and had them come back in body bags as cleaned. I have 2 Columbian expo half dollars one 1892 0ne a 93 They are much better than the ones I have seen at NGC I am sending them in for a grade to test my theroy as well. I'll post it when I get em back. I chose NGC because they grade just a tad easier.
