    No cleaning. And yes I'm happy with it, what really caught my eye was the detail on the face being intact.

    Nice coin. Not the best at grading these, but I say VF-30.

    Worth 28.00 in xf-40, but I think it's worth 30! But the gray sheet has More power:(

    Yes, lots of older coins have V's instead of U's (e.g. Peace Dollars.) I don't know why.

    Not bad, not bad at all. :thumb: The thing about SLQ's is if you want a really nice one you're gonna have to bring out the Benji's in a big way too. :D

    It may simply be the lighting used for the image, but it appears it might have already had a gentle bath to remove some skin. However, what caught my eye just as much are the cuts in the right obverse under "WE TRUST" as well as on the eagle's wing on the reverse.

    Because of the Romans dear friend. Our earlier coinage was a throw back to the more classical era and followed their form of lettering...... :)
