Do you guys keep any collectable coins in rolls, I don't because I am scared that a relitive will cash them in when I die, like that 70 yr. old wife of yours that assumes that your silver have rolls are not worth anything and so she cashes them in and then some lucky roll searcher comes along and finds 6 rolls of barber halfs at the bank

I keep wheat cents in rolls, junk silver too.

I would worry more about your children getting a hold of the coins and cashing them in. I know of someone who had a nice slug of morgan dollars back in the 60s, the kids spent them on cigs while he was gone on vacation.

I think I found this, silver rolls dumped in a coin machine. I kept finding these silver dimes in rolls and the newer coins looked kind of new and considered that someone dumped silver dime rolls in the coin machine. When you get old though I would suggest selling anything worth over face.

    +1.

Plastic tubes with a little label on them works well, and you don't have to worry about moisture or mold eating at your paper wrapper over time. I go one extra step and also label the box they're in very clearly as "silver". My wife and my kids already know the difference between these and the other coins as well.

Ya, I use tubes, but even if a paper roll is clearly marked it can still be overlooked, watched some videos about Crhing on YouTube, some had rolls marked, 1964,47,69,71 which had all 64's in it

I do keep junk silver in rolls but all of it is in my safe-deposit box. If my family can't figure out that coins in the box are special then I don't know what to do.
