What grade would the experts give these coins my grandfather handed down to my Mom...my Mom to me. I know they aren't proofs...but I know there will be more sentimental value in them than anything knowing there were 9 kids and the hard times they went through; yet, he never spent these and passed them to his youngest daughter; and she passed them to her youngest daughter (which I will do some day).

Thank you iGradeMS70. Appreciate the quick response.
I was just wanting to get an idea of the possible grade if ever decided to send it for official grading but I think I'll just memo this one and put the coins back in the sleeves where they came from. That way when I pass them to my daughter; she won't have to do all of the research that I'm doing. I'm going to try and get her more interested in the coin collecting hobby when she is older. I know she is 17 now....but right now her mind is on school and boys. So maybe after school and marriage she might want to start a new hobby and I can introduce her to the coins then.

Neither coin has any value over the melt price of silver, and would not be worth submitting for grading. Each contains .77344 ozs. of silver. At the current price, they would be worth about $26 each.

Unless you sell them on eBay... then they're worth about $31 each.

that price does not include the ebay, paypal, and shipping fees though. but nice pair of coins and their value can go up or down considering the price of silver
