is this struck through grease?

    hi i found this and the lettering is cartooish and weak, is it an error or pmd?

    Are both sides of the coin like the obverse, sorry its hard to see form pics?

    Yes, and e plurbis unum is mostly missing/very faint, so is part of states

    It certainly looks like a strike through grease but i am no expert and if it is indeed genuine than nice find. I have found a couple in regular change even a dime still in a mint set cello once.

    I am no expert but it looks like a dryer coin to me..stuck in the fins of a commercial dryer for some time.

    Could very well be but without a more clear in focus pic im not ruling out anything.
