Yesterday we did two boxes of halves knowing they were the last for the month. The first box was a big surprise. Earlier in the month we were getting boxes from Loomis with 5910 marked in the yellow circle. We had not seen one in the last 15 or so boxes but Always a Lady brought one back to the car so we had a good feeling. As we started opening the box I noticed 2 enders right off the bat. A65 and a 68. As we worked thru the box we started finding a few. Quicksilver came over so I told him "Come on and get you some".

Final results were 11x40% and 1x 90%. In this box we had a first. After approximately 150 boxes we got our first 1970 and it was an S mint. The 90%er was a 1996S. We also got a couple of NIFCs and 2 1987, a P and a D mint. A really nice way to finish September.

As some say "No picture didn't happen" so here, enjoy. Good Luck Everyone!

    A September to remember

UNC Walker and I went on our normal trip to the banks. We stopped and dropped our box of halves. Then we headed to our pick-up bank. I walked into the bank and the head teller comes up to the counter and asked me if I was there to pick-up? I told her I was. She goes and gets the box and lays it on the counter, then she hands me an envelope that looked like a card. She tells me "It's our way of saying Thank you" I opened the card and each employee had signed the card and thanked me. Also in the card was a gift card. What I do is take a fruit tray and salsa & chips to them twice a month. They order our halves and they make sure they have enough in stock whenever we need them. They totally surprised me. They all came out from behind the counter and each one gave me a hug. They had me in tears. LOL All of this just for being nice to our pick-up bank and we don't even have an account there. They are just a group of very friendly and down to earth people that we have built a wonderful relationship with since we started CRHing. Not only are we finding silver but we are making friends as well.

I never get gift cards from my tellers, just phone numbers, hah. Too bad I'm engaged, some of them are really cute.
