If that top 61 is graded I sure would like to see an image of it in a pcgs slab! It's AT no question....
The top 61 is in an NGC slab. Sorry, I took your statement, "Those are some blatantly artificially toned Franklin's! ", as inclusive of all the images. How can you tell the top 61 is AT with no question ?
Have toned coins in this thread to be american ? I hope not, here are a french franc : 3° republique - 1 franc 1901 REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE, semeuse allant a gauche LIBERTE . EGALITE . FRATERNITE, 1 FRANC en deux lignes, en dessous une branche d'olivier, a l'exergue 1901 Tranche cannelée 5.00 gr Ref : Le Franc VIII # 217/6 And a "tribute penny" : Tiberius, Denarius Denarius minted in Lyon after 15-16 AD TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGUSTUS, Laureate head of Tiberius right PONTIF MAXIM, Woman seated right (Livia ?) 3.71 gr Ref : RCV #1763, Cohen #16 Q
The way the color lays on the coin. Lets see the coin in the slab, can you do that? If ngc slabbed that coin with a numerical grade I'd love to see it. And to answer your question , yes, I would send it back!
Love the Franc.. and no,, thread is definitely not limited to US coins. At the risk of getting Gbroke started on his famous Marc collection.. :smile
