i found 6 1971's( two of which barly have a copper band )
    1 1972 (has the fg)
    2 1973's
    2 1977's
    1 1997

and my favorite the bicentennial because iv never had one

i was wondering of any errors or varietys to look out for or any harder to find dates

    i know of these two
The 1972-D Kennedy half dollar without the designer’s initials
    and the
The 1974-D doubled-die Kennedy half dollar.

keep any that are 1970 or older, because they are silver. For varieties and errors, I'd pick up a copy of the cherrypicker's guide. I look for 1974 ddo's and 1982 no FG errors. Also, I'd keep any S mint halves, because they are proofs.

I searched through $100 worth yesterday and was vedy vedy happy to find a 1967 and a 1968. A 1000% return on my investment on those two coins. I love silver.
