I emailed tazmic (the ebay seller who submits huge amounts of modern coins) and they told me that high grade acadias (non-proof "s" mintmark coins)are very very tough to find. I would not count on finding a high grade of this issue in either bags or rolls. Overall though I'd say rolls

    Ouch. On both counts.

Then again, might be fun hunting bags. For 50% over face, if one could eventually even sell off for 4x face, that might be some decent returns, all the while searching for your unicorn.

I'll probably pick up at least 2 of the S mint rolls from each, and squirrel them away for a while and maybe get a bag of each to look through and try my luck.

If you're like me, you'll release a couple from each bag into circulation, just to surprise and inspire.

What would it cost in grading fees, ins. & postage on submitting your 5 best quarters ?

I have seen some go on eBay for $16 to $26

Roughly $100. If you've got 5, and they all sell top end of that range, you're up a few bucks and have about paid for the bag of 100.

thin margin and possible loss- but give it a try you may hit the jackpot

Indeed. I'd be fine with hitting the jackpot of just being able to identify the quality coins in the bag to be able to grade them. So far I suck at that. I'd be more likely to send 5 coins that grade MS-62 and leave the 67's in the bag... :)
