Here are a couple pics from the find i posted in CRH. If the experts could please give me a grade and a worth I would greatly appreciate it:hail: First one is the 32 s, the second one is the 32 d
Oh my gosh! You found these in a roll? The 32-D and 32-S are the two key dates of the series. Im no expert so I cant give an exact price or grade but WOW, thats an AWESOME find.:thumb:
Don't have time to look at them right now, but I would be much more worried about authentication than grade if I were you.
That's the blue book value, and thats what they go for in "fine" condition. I'm no expert, but fine goes by "hair lines about washinton's ear visible. Feathers on eagles breast faintly visible."
Can you get us any better pics without the light reflection and using a plain dark color background ?
I will try to post better picture with close ups on the mint marks. I did do a magnetic test and they are real that way. I wont be able to weigh them until later in the week. They did come with about 35-40 more just like them with different dates.
Here is the 32 D I am having problems with my computer getting it on here. I will get more on here later
Book values, from any annually published guide, are outdated. Completed sales at eBay, Heritage, TeleTrade, and other sources are more accurate. The 32-S in F, around $100 on eBay, and the 32-D in F, $135-$150 on eBay. If they're authentic.
they look genuine to me. The 32-D and S are known for the dark area around the mint mark. Typically, this is a sign that the mint mark may have been added, but at first glance I don't think that is the case. To be sure, it'd be nice to see a close-up of the mint marks.
Ok imma try to use a different camera for the close ups any suggestions. I have an expensive camera but it doesnt take as good a picture as my phone with a magnifying glass. Any ideas?? How do you get good close ups
I do not but I am purchasing one now on eBay. Didnt even think of that. Any siggestions when purchasing one??
