I don't collect paper currency but was looking at these. I know the seller, and he's asking $20 for both. Thoughts?
IMO I wouldn't pay $20 each for those bills. I was able to pick up three Series 1957 PCGS Graded 58,65,65 PPQ, respectively, consecutive for $50 total. But I'm no paper money expert.
Right, I'm really in need of coffee. My apologies. I'd take em for ten bucks each. They seem like very nice notes.
$20 sounds reasonable to me. I don't know why but whenever I see someone selling a 1957 note I think they are trying to fool people into thinking it is 1928. Silly I know.
Yes go for $20. I find it odd that the only person in this forum that hasn't said anything about coffee has it in their name. I bet none of you guys drink as much coffeeeeeeee as meeeeeee thooooooouughhh:yes:
$20 for both in that condition is an okay price, but I think you could do better if you were on the lookout for 1957 UNC silver certs. Not horrible though, so it's up to you if you want to pull the trigger on this one.
I wish most of my purchasing decisions were only $20 decisions. It's not a tremendous deal or a bad deal, but I might add that being consecutive serials on these popular $1 SC's is no added value.......you see this all the time.
From the pics those look uncirculated to me, as well as consecutive serial numbers (if that's worth anything).
