Hello coin roll hunters! I found this very interesting page that seems to be defunct: http://www.thecentproject.com/ and I was wondering if any of you good people would like to get a similar project started. I'm not exactly the world's best organizer, but I go through 1-2 boxes of pennies a week and have developed a keen eye for '82 small dates. I've only found ~20 '70-S in a year and a half of hunting, and the rest seem to be just too darned hard to decipher without scrutinizing each coin with a magnifying glass. I've only been keeping track of '82 cents for the past two boxes, but I plan to do so from now on. Maybe one or more of you would like to help gather data?
I've just posted a page to start collecting simple 1982 LMC variety data: http://www.dancingpaper.com/1982/ Suggestions?
Thanks so much, digitect! I only last week started hanging on to 1982 cents because I was first told that it wasn't worth my time to weigh them out. After a year and change, the date sizes became very obvious to me and CamaroDMD's post about the popsicle stick scale made me want to contribute. I'll be emailing numbers to you within a few days.
