No I went to see the Camden River Sharks play the Somerset Patriots on Aug 21st. Good game the Sharks won plus it was "Irish Heritage Night". Plan to head up the NJTP in a few weeks to take a trip to New England.
You are right, Augusta isn't THAT attractive. But for the rest, WOW ! We visited Portland , of course , and the museum there is a major one. But also Boothbay, Acadia National park (went for a whale watch from Bar Harbor) and stayed along the coast near Belfast. A wonderful experience. Best Q
Came in the mail today...pretty good deal on eBay Got this in the mail today. Nice little pick up on eBay. And it's pretty cool too!!
Here's a 1814 CBH, E/A, I picked up at Heritage. It was unattributed so not too expensive. Crazy LDS. Lance.
This one just came today and I had to photograph it right away. This is a stunning Buffalo I purchased from Paul (Lehigh96). If you ever have a chance to do buisness with this guy, he is highly recommended and a professional in every way.
The equivalent purchasing power of this coin in 1864 is $85 in today's money. Amazing it's still in such nice shape. It would be nice if we had coins today that could actually buy things...like they used to.
Got this one just the other day. It's an O.106a R4+ "Single Leaf". It's probably been lightly wiped with a wet tissue or put into a damp denim-jean pocket ages ago. It was ever-so mild and is easy to look past... But we'll see what PCGS has to say about it. I won't be too disappointed if doesn't grade cleanly just because the variety is so difficult to find in any grade above "Fine", and it's nice to be able to add a decent example to the census. I'll get back to you all when it returns. EDIT: If it passes, I bet PCGS will call it VF30, but a 35 wouldn't surprise me.
