I recently found a wheat penny on the end of a roll.... turned out to be a 1935 :thumb: There was a 1958 wheat penny in that roll also. (so sorry that there are no pics)
Ender from the Weekend I ripped open my first box and see a reverse ender looking back at me. I save that roll for last and start going through the box. It ends up being the only silver in the whole box....geez. This has now happened to me 3 times. HOTN
At least you are finding them. That's cool! I have been through 10 boxes since my last silver find...
Increase the volume if you can to battle through the skunk streak. They are terrible for sure. Pick up some CWR if you can, it's easy to say but they are tuff to find. HOTN
Thanks for the advice. I am currently getting two boxes a week. It is about all I can handle at the moment. I always grab boxes of nickels to cheer me up. I usually always find some good stuff to keep me hunting. :smile
I found when I was doing two boxes a week I got worse results, it always seemed they picked the two skunks out of the pile and that's what I got, the luck of the draw I guess. If $1000 is all you can handle then roll with the 2 boxes a week and hopefully you get into some silver that someone just cashed in! HOTN
A guy on Tnet says all the boxes in AZ are dry because they have machines that cull the silver. He says the only place you can find it is in CWR. Is he full of it? HOTN
As promised, here's the pics from my ender streak. With the exception of the proof one (I forgot to post with the last batch) these are all from the past 2 weeks! All 40%ers, the first 2 were in the same box: A roosie And this one from Saturday, a box with a BF and the double WL (I won't post the reverse again, it's in the main thread):
Although this is only a 40%er end, this is my first ender EVER... so i'm still excited about it and ready to find more!
I don't know if this counts, but I found this today... Just for those that are curious, yes the rest of the roll of was silver too.......
Wow, the thread got bumped all the way to the second page. Gotta bump it back up! A great way to start a dime box:
