If you think that the 98 SMS Kennedy is rare, what can I say other than you perception of rare is fairly twisted from reality.

The PCGS "Price Guide" is NOT based upon reality as lot of prices within that guide are so far from reality that its just ridiculous.

True Value for a coin is based upon what folks will pay for it and it's been quite some time since MS69 (SP69) 98 SMS Kennedy's have sold for $225.
David Lawrence has been unsuccessfully trying to sell about a dozen MS69's for close to 6 months at a price lower than what I paid in 2005.

Quick question ..........can you tell the difference between a 1969 proof clad set and a 1969 proof silver half set?the only difference I can see on eBay is what the seller is telling you. Or am I wrong?

Yes since the 1969 Clad Proof is counterfeit.

Actually, you've asked about 1969 but have posted a 1975/1976 coin.

To tell the different between clad and silve proofs, look at the edge. On CnClad proofs, the edge is a bright copper color since the coins have 100% copper cores.

On the silver, you should not see ANY copper at all since the core is an 80% Copper/20% Silver Core.

Yeah I just posted the 76 but I do have the 69 proof set. After looking at some that say silver half and some don't I thought how do I know if its silver if u can't see the edge in a mint casing.
