Thursday was an outstanding day. 5 boxes yielded 24x40% and 5x90%. Friday , UNC Walker had to pickup his weekender box to hold us thru the wwekend. This box started out real good. UNC Walker opened the box and saw a 68 ender so it was set aside for last. So Always a Lady, UNC Walker and Quicksilver started the Friday afternoon box search. As the rolls were opened , all of a sudden Always a Lady says "Here ys go a 68". From there we were pulling silver from about every other roll. When Makescents got here, he got the honors of opening the ender roll. He grabbed a beer and opened the roll. He went through it and when he had finished here is the ender a 68 and here is another 68. Today was our third best day and consisted of 20x40% and a 1953D Ben Franklin. Can't wait for Monday !!! coin roll hunt aug 17 2012 006.jpg

I'm new to this and haven't posted my finds but I've recorded everything I've done so here they are.

    16 boxes of dimes - 13 roosies, 1 merc, 89-S and a 83-S. Plus 209 09's and only 6 foreign.

I only search part part-time, about 2-4 boxes a month so the above results are from the end of last year till now. Do my numbers look okay or should I go to a different bank?

I'd say those are average numbers, so I'd stay at that bank.

    First week...

As my first week of CRH concludes, I am excited about my new treasures: a 1954 quarter and 6 wheat pennies! What fun!:smile

Well, no jackpot, but 3 '64 roosies and a '58 canadian were found in addition to the '60 found right off the bat. I'll take it!

5 rolls of Halves=Skunk. 1 was solid bicentennials. Two were BWR and three were CWR's
$9 in loose halves = Nothing

I did score a NIFC 2005 Sac though in a tellers tray. It has definitely passed through some hands but it's still a cool find.

    Two boxes of nickels:

Box one was weird. At least 75% were 2012s. Some of the rolls were solid 2012s. So, I didn't get anything out of that box.
Box two, I only got one war out of it.

    Weekend Report:
    5 rolls of Quarters: Skunk
    10 rolls of Dimes: Skunk
Box of nickels: 1 War nick (43 D)
    Box of Halves: 2 40%ers

But here is the funny think about the halves. My bank stopped getting the halves with "Brinks" printed on the side of the wrapper. Since then, most of the boxes have some re-wrapped rolls in them (one end open and smashed down). For the SECOND time in the last 3 boxes, I found a 40%er in one of the re-wrapped rolls. LOL :too-funny: I guess the guy doesn't know that a 1968 is 40% silver. :jumping-jack:

Hmm. That is interesting. Somebody must have dumped them. Are you going to keep them?
