I seriously don't know, G. I have seen countless coins with larger dings/scratches on key points get into slabs that don't have "Details" on the label. I truly don't know. This one looks like a perfect crackout candidate.
1932-S Washington Quarter I bought this 1932-S Washington Quarter in a group of coins. I didn't get but a couple of responses in the "What's it worth" forum as it is old & worn and as Chris says, probably cleaned. However, the price was affordable and is probably the best I can get at the moment for a high valued coin. Jason suggested the grade at VG-8 but the value's are only listed for VF-20 and up. Any idea of what this one is worth ? Dave
Yes. I have the Half Dollar, Quarter and Ten Cent piece. Bought this one through an auction and had NCS do the cleaning. It came back as a MS Details Grade. This picture was before cleaning and slabbing.
Numismedia is a great site to look up the values of coins. http://numismedia.com/fmv/prices/wshqtr/pricesgd.shtml Also, using PCGS Photograde you can determine the approximate grade of the coin. http://www.pcgs.com/photograde/#/Washington/Grades I would say its a G-4, so value at around $70.
