Added this Ireland 1805 Penny to my Penny Type Set. The coin’s surface is a light chocolate color. When the coin is positioned under a light, there is an underlying magenta-purple tone on the obverse & a more green-yellow tone on the reverse. This penny was purchased at the Philadelphia ANA from The Copper Penny out of Wethersfield CT.
Now that I'm back from the ANA, I find my new penny listed in the British Coins Market Values book. However, I don't find it listed in the Spink Coins of England & The United Kingdom. Does anybody at CT know if or where I might find it listed in the Spink catalog?
