Hey guys, I saw this and watched it, however because he didn't have a return policy I was hesitant. When I went back to look at it one more time it had sold . I'm just curious as to what the community thinks as to how I'm doing with my quality/pricing on my searches. Thanks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/50-1860-O-S...88?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item4d03d778bc
Decent for the price, but the surfaces seem somewhat porous. I wouldn't feel too bad about missing that one.
It says that a 40 grade is worth $140 on the PCGS website. What does a grade of 45 add to the value? Would it add $46? I believe that would be a 33 percent mark-up from PCGS prices. Are PCGS prices on the high end? It appears that this is a common coin.
http://www.pcgs.com/Cert/60191598/ Was I the only one? The coin, pictures, a population, and an estimated price are all there. And as far as I've heard, PCGS price guide is usualy high.
So it is $18 more than a high price. If the PCGS price is high than you can get it for less than that with a return policy.
