Actually, PCGS says they will also use it on "suspect" coins. However, I think it's use outside of the Secure Plus option would be very limited to high dollar coins they think may have been altered. Their instrument could possibly detect VC because of the surface conditioner. However, them showing VG in the video is an absolute joke because it could not be detected by ANY instrument since the product completely evaporates.
Well, I've been very pleased with your product. The problem is...it works so well, I'm thinking about sending some of the coins in for grading. I hate to waste my time if they're just gonna come back in a body bag. I'll post the results if I ever get around to sending some in.
Would Verdicare get rid of the small amount of verdicare on the reverse of this coin? http://www.ebay.com/itm/170891686252?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 There are particles on the camera on this pic and some under the 2x2 that can be blown off the coin but did notice some slight green stuff on the reverse in the reef. I just bid because there were no bids and only seconds left but already have this date. Should I sell it for the price I bought this lower grade coin with the same date I am going to keep? I am going to list it here when I get it.
The pictures are small, but I don't see any reason to attempt conservation on this coin. It's a nice, original IHC, I'd leave it be.
