Was searching old wheat rolls and came across this coin. The overall grade is not the best, however I don't believe this to be PMD. Please give me all opinions and ideas! Thanks everyone!

Agree. A cud includes the rim.

your coin has what is called a die chip and these are normally called a BIE coin because the die chip makes it appear to have a I between the B and E.

Very good link and source. So it's the most frequent area of the die to break during the 50's, does this make the coin "rare" or "uncommon" in any way?

Pretty common. I have probably a dozen that I've found over the last few years. This and the filled numbers and letters were prevalent during the 40's and 50's. Sometimes they get a premium on ebay but why pay extra for something you'll find eventually.

Lol gotcha. Well, I'll keep it and chalk it up as a random half-error. Thanks for all the info guys. I learned something new for sure!:hail:
