Correct, however each set has three matching serial numbers which are UNIQUE to that set. So yes each of the 3,333 sets will be unique.

johnny2dollar Collector of BEP $2 notes

I think it is interesting, but I'm not a collector of $10 notes.

Yes, frequently, although I'm a bit surprised to see that they've held on to these for as long as fourteen years. These low serials in the 1995 $10 C..A block were printed in June 1998!

On other occasions, the BEP has printed "old" currency especially for collector sales, but that's less common. The 1995 $5 "lucky money" sheets of 8 notes with 8888xxxx serials were printed well after that design was obsolete, for example. (In that case, I suspect that they found themselves with some leftover old-style-$5 paper, and decided to make a collector product rather than just trashing it....)

Wouldn't that just be $1 and $2 paper that is still in use and on hand?

No, the 1995 $5 has the "USA 5" polymer strip embedded in the paper. Series 1988A was the last time the $5 was printed on non-denomination-specific paper.

Anyone have a clue when this is going to ship? Thought 10 days for in stock items.

I'm still waiting as well. No shipping confirmation yet. Although, as of right now they've sold 1,259 sets.

Thats a lot of orders to fill...

I purchased my set a couple days ago. Wait a minute... I have to wait to get it? :rollling: I ordered a couple other items as well, will they ship separately or do I have to wait on it all?

I got 2 items at once that I ordered at the same time from them. They put a fancy set and a single note in a box with no packing at all. The folder on the single note was bent. I wasn't too crazy about that. At least it wasn't creased.

Anyway,at least I'm not the only one waiting for the new set. Do they even have shipping confirmation? I've never seen tracking info in my account either.

    Ok, enough whining :(

I know that they usually ship all items in the same large flat envelope, but what I'm saying is, since they're on back order for the $10 generation set, will they ship the rest of my order or will I have to wait on it all? I guess it doesn't really matter if the wait won't be bad, but who knows...

All I know is, in my somewhat limited experience with them, I never know when or how they will ship what I order from them, because it always seems to vary. I know that's not of much use, but it's been my experience.

    Got mine today 00001034

I was hopping an order completed 3 min after launch would have gotten a lower number.

It is a nice set either way :thumb:

Obviously we weren't the only ones getting in early, we probably got in between the ones buying 25 sets at a time. Someone who seemed to be in the know said the serials started with #00000300 for the sets. I wouldn't have minded getting one like 00001111, ( or 00000333, 444, etc ) but I'm not complaining, it's a cool set.
