Good catch. A 2009 P or D proof is, indeed, impossible.
Maybe it is quick, excited typing to blame.

$100 in nickels, my usual coin for searching:

    1 dateless Buff
    1939 Jeff
    10 1940's dates
    21 1950s
    1 Canada 12 sided YH 1961
    1 Canada YH 1964
    4 Canada 65-81 99% nickel.

But the best, and this from a BWR:
1 1913 Italy 20 centesimi the so called "flying nude" coin

My new oldest and most unusual and unexpected find in a box of nickels.

I haven't had much opportunity to do much roll searching this week (seems to be a recurring theme for the past few weeks) but I am having a blast at the ANA convention in Philly... even got totake a rare floor tour of the mint. Kinda amazing to see that manyblanks and bins full of webbing within arms reach, but knowing you'd never make it out the door with them.

I did make a few nice pickups here, including much needed coin supplies, a 2 pesos and 1/25 oz gibraltar gold coins for just about melt, a few cheap old foreign silver coins, and some well worn barber halves for $10.50 each. It's been a fun couple of days!

Box of nickels: one war, one canadian, and a toned AU 1950 Dutch coin with a hole drilled through it. Not the 1950 I was looking for.
