    Hi All,
Havent been on in a while. Hope everyone is doing good. Was at a yardsale and found this cup full of old coins on the table. So I picked them up. Been trying to do some research on them but not having much luck
I belive most of them are early european with a few chinese coins at the end. As usual any thoughts, and
opinions on them would be great. Will send them in a few threads
    Thanks.....Pa IMG_4434-1.jpg tt01 IMG_4418-1.jpg IMG_4420-1.jpg IMG_4430-1.jpg

Thanks Ripley, I guess the dollar I spent for this cup of change was a dollar well spent. There were a couple of dozen coins in all. Will post a couple of more in a
    new thread.....Patt01

Yes, that was a dollar very well spent. Did you really mean to say a couple of dozen coins for one dollar?

If so, you've done very well indeed. True, those aren't especially rare pieces, but they're old, and several of them are worth a few dollars individually. You couldn't buy a "couple of dozen" modern coins for a dollar! (Maybe one dozen common moderns for a dollar if you were lucky.)

I like the Napoleon I French decime.

Hi lordmarcovan, Yep Walked up to the table and they were in one of those
Parkay type butter tubs. Asked them how much, they said one dollar so I snached them up. there was also some older Shillings,Canadian cents and some wheat cents In ther I'm still going thru. Still trying to find out about the Chinese (I think) coins. Nice to be in the right place at the right time......Pat

Thanks for letting me know about the brass 5 yen hontonai, did not even think about it being Japanese. I knew it was not worth much but it is still a cool looking
    coin.....Pat

I like george iii.looks like a 1/2 penny token. And the shillings. The french ones are very common. Very well done for a dollar, they must several times in scrap metal alone.

Wow jloring, know I'd never get all that for a buck. We love yard sales out here in sunny Phoenix
With those kind of table items you'd fit right in :thumb:
