No problem. I of course haven't been able to get anything lately. I keep being outbid, or can't find what I want. Sooner or lateer I'm going become one of them there strap searchers just to be able to look for something.

Sometimes I find it easier to just buy the item instead of bidding. And of course browsing stores are the best, the selection may be limited but I find it more focused.

This next note is tiny, about the size of a smaller plate block of stamps...

Picked up some things, but they're not money.

    Books.

Not exactly sure how to categorize this but I guess its considered paper money.

I was reading this old book called Lincoln; Master of men, and in the book it had an interesting passage where Lincoln had some of these newly printed notes and remarked to someone, (I do not remember if it was a cabinet member or a secretary) how much labor it would be for Spinner to sign all those notes and what a unique signature it was.
Lincoln did not seem to understand that the signature was printed and not signed, this was because the presses that printed the notes actually made in impression into the paper, unlike most printed materials that one could easily see wether the signature was printed or actually handwritten.

It's these little pieces of information that make all the difference when collecting and purchasing an item. A+ to you my friend!

Really like the symbolism here. Two allegorical ladies, having set down the arms of war and taken up manufacturing and farming, issued by Germany in 1908. My how things would change...

Would you believe me if I told you it was just a little over twice face value? SHAPOW! It was such a good deal I didn't even talk anywhere about it before it arrived in my hands, I was worried I'd jinx the damn thing...
